Musculoskeletal disorders (tendinitis, lower back pain, neck pain)
Osteopathy is particularly effective in treating musculoskeletal pain by identifying mobility restrictions and muscle imbalances. I begin with a comprehensive patient examination to identify muscle tension, joint blockages, and postural imbalances that may be causing the pain.
Using tailored manual techniques such as joint mobilization, specific stretching, and myofascial release, I help reduce tension, improve tissue flexibility, and reduce local inflammation. For tendonitis, for example, I can work on the surrounding tissues to optimize the tendon's vascularization and thus accelerate its regeneration. In the case of chronic pain such as lower back pain, I also work to restore overall postural balance to limit recurrence.
Digestive problems (reflux, bloating)
Digestive dysfunctions such as acid reflux and bloating can be linked to diaphragmatic tension, restricted mobility of the digestive organs, or imbalances in the autonomic nervous system. My osteopathic approach aims to restore visceral mobility and improve fluid circulation within the digestive system.
Through gentle mobilization techniques of the diaphragm, intestines, and stomach, I promote better digestion and proper organ function. I can also act on the vagus nerve, which plays a key role in regulating intestinal motility. These interventions help reduce abdominal tension, improve transit, and provide lasting relief from digestive symptoms.
